Assumptions & Disclosures
- Arbitrage: Saving is calculated as the rate differential (day rate − night rate) applied to the effective daily cycle. Battery round-trip efficiency is assumed at 95% (LiFePO4 chemistry). The daily cycle is capped at the lesser of the battery's rated capacity or your estimated daily consumption — so lower-usage homes see proportionally lower savings, while higher-usage homes are battery-limited.
- Usage & bill: Annual kWh usage is derived from your monthly bill divided by the day rate, assuming you are currently on a flat single-rate tariff. The bill slider updates the current-vs-future comparison in Monthly mode and the usage estimate shown above.
- Energy price inflation: Year-by-year savings are projected using an annual energy price inflation rate of 7%, reflecting the UK long-run average (excluding the 2021–2023 COVID-era price spike). Future prices may differ.
- General: All figures are illustrative estimates and do not constitute a guarantee of savings. Actual results will depend on your property, usage patterns, tariff and installation specifics. Prices correct at time of publication and subject to change.
